James did a great job in Jr. Showmanship. He took home a BOB with Dutch!
Our very first ARBA show! All the adults were in a terrible molt, so I only took two young juniors that I really wanted to get the judges' opinions on. Monsoon's Stormy Day got some nice comments on her type, but couldn't really compete because of her baby fur. She was 3/5 in show A, 2/4 in show B, and 3/4 in show C. I'm anxious for her to get an adult coat and see how she really does. I also took Monsoon's Raindancer, but he seems to be in an awkward growing stage. Hopefully he outgrows it soon! :)

James competed in showmanship and showed two Mini Rex and his Himalayan. He took home a blue ribbon for showmanship, and one of the Mini Rex he chose to show took home best of breed and was one of the three rabbits left on the table when Best in Show and Reserve were being chosen. However, his rabbit was just too young to compete with the BIS and RIS rabbits. He had a great time and was very excited at all his wins. He also received blue ribbons for his 4-H educational exhibit (how to carry a rabbit) and his record book. Way to go James!
Moonsoon Rabbitry is very excited for our first two litters born earlier this month. We have a total of nine kits right now, including four black otters, three solid blacks, one blue otter and one solid blue. Check out the nestbox page for more pictures. Since we want to focus on otters (and later opals), the self colors will probably be available in the fall. We are going to take our time deciding which otter kits to keep.
